Frankyy Williams

Frankyy graduated from Performers College in 2014 and has been working internationally in America, Japan, China and India since graduating. Frankyy is qualified to Teach Tap in Rad and ISTD and attended both the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Royal Ballet Associates. Frankyy prides herself on helping her students reach their full potential whilst retaining a high level of enjoyment in the class. 

CLASS INFORMATION

Beginner Tap 
This class is suitable for absolute beginners. This class will spend time learning a warm up sequence, centre exercises and travelling sequences along with a dance. Some sequences will remain the same for the term to aid progression and confidence alongside new steps or exercises being taught to introduce more vocabulary. The aim of this class is to build confidence, knowledge and vocabulary whilst having fun and entertainment dancing to different music genres from term to term.

Experienced Tap
This class is designed for adults who have had some previous experience in Tap Dance. An understanding of the techniques involved would be important and our teacher will help to develop these skills, build confidence and increase your dance vocabulary. however. This class will commence with a warm up sequence, leading to various technical and rhythmical exercises using a variety of styles working in the centre and travelling. A dance is often taught in the style of the musical theme chosen for that term.

All of our classes are fun and informal, providing a great way to get fit as the classes are energetic and upbeat. Each step is well explained and our aim is to build your confidence, movement vocabulary and co-ordination in a relaxed and informative way. Each term a different theme of music is chosen for example Motown and Soul / Musical Theatre /
Current Pop Music etc

What To Wear

Fitness wear, leggings, vest tops, t-shirts. Tap shoes are required, however to trial a class you may wear light / non-grip flat shoes.
