Student Pastoral Care
The Student Handbook outlines most issues that could affect a student’s sense of well-being and gives advice and information on how to act if the student’s well-being is compromised in some way. The college exercises an Equal Opportunities Policy that is strictly adhered to and has a complaints procedure in place should that policy ever be breached.
The college is dedicated to nurturing not only the talent and individual progress of each student but also their psychological well-being. The faculty are very experienced in matters relating to the health and education of young people and of the particular issues concerning this age-group.
All students have access to an independent, confidential Counsellor who can deal with issues concerning mental health including eating disorders, bereavement, stress, addiction, abuse, family relationships etc.
