How to Apply
APPLICATIONS
Applications to commence training in September 2023 are now open.
In addition to Dance and Drama Award (DaDA) funding for the Diploma Course, a small number of Scholarships are available for the Diploma and Foundation courses.
Entry is by audition only.
The Professional Training courses, FOUNDATION (1 yr) & DIPLOMA (3 yrs) are accessed by audition only and all new applicants are offered a full audition. Outstanding ability, talent and potential is assessed and prioritised over any specific vocational or academic achievement.
The College actively encourages applications from a wide range of backgrounds and promotes diversity and equality in everything it does.
Great importance is placed upon the individual ability and potential of each applicant, and this is thoroughly assessed through the audition process.
Auditions are held throughout the academic year, starting in the autumn term. Application for audition is made on-line by clicking the ‘APPLY NOW’ link at the top of the page.
Audition fee - £45

Overseas Students
It is with regret that Laine Theatre Arts is unable to offer a place, in this next academic year 2022/23, to any applicant who does not hold a British passport or Settled Status.
The college is shortly to apply for Office for Students (OfS) registration. Until this process is complete, we are not able to exercise our ‘Highly Trusted Sponsor’ status in offering training to those requiring a Visa. This will now include those from the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
If you have, or if you are eligible for ‘Settled Status’ or ‘Pre-Settled Status’ under the EU Settlement Scheme please contact Sarah Carroll at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
